I’m Bethan and I translate from Catalan, Spanish and French into English, especially texts on cultural themes.

After finishing my studies at home in Cardiff (First Class Honours in BA French and Spanish and Distinction in MA Translation Studies) I moved out here to Barcelona to pursue my career as a translator. I’ve always loved learning languages but have fallen especially in love with Catalan, which is why I ended up here in Catalonia.

With the help of translation tools (Trados Studio 2015, memoQ 2015) and thorough terminological research, I promise to deliver an accurate, fluent translation with a focus on the target audience.
